Erin Sanchez
Age:
16
Canon?:
Yes
Band Name/Job:
Something new is happening
If in Band what do they play?:
Lead guitar/Vocalist
Appearance:
Erin is anything but ordinary, she has her own style, her own way of thinking and her very own look. She takes the bimbo Barbie look to an extreme with died platinum blond hair but there's one difference, this Barbie is the newly enhanced 'punk rock Barbie'. With light hair, pale blue eves and a pale complexion she could adopt almost any style but instead she just takes a bit from everything. Her attire consists of whatever falls out of her wardrobe and the clothes she wears to school and out and about are the clothes she wears to perform live in. People go to hear the music so what's the point in dressing up for it...okay sure she takes a little longer putting on her dark eye make-up but that's only natural.
Erin does care about the way she look but not to the extent of taking a sneaky look in every mirror she comes across....that would just be called vain. At 5'2" she isn't exactly tall...infact quite the opposite and some may think she had the 'cute' look but when people get to know her they may find her anything but cute...especially in the morning, she's just plain scary then.

History:
Erin was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. The first few years of her childhood ran smoothly and she had a loving family around her, to care for her but at the age of 5 the arguments started. Erin was never the perfect child, her parents would blame each other for how she was. In school one moment Erin would be in the corner sitting alone, too afraid to play with the rest of the kids but the next second she would start a fight with some unexpected child in an attempt to gain some attention...from then of she was known as a bit of a 'tomboy'. Following her stereotype she became friends with mostly guys. At the age of 9 her mother died, she was killed and of course her Father was a suspect...even though he did nothing and was soon released of suspicion Erin never again trusted him and she blocked herself from the majority of her family except of course her brothers who she had always looked up to.
From a young age Erin was musically talented and now she can play several instruments including, guitar, piano and drums and she could also sing. This occupied her for the majority of her time, she would sit around for hours making up her own songs and writing the lyrics across her bedroom walls. They were always songs of hatred...something that would not be labeled as 'emo' but as time when on she got better and managed to mask her anger in the songs as they became more poetic and...strange. She wrote about anything that took her fancy, relationships, family and at a later age, politics and opinions that she held so close to her.
Erin was a very opinionated child and would start a fight with anyone who questioned what she believed in until she was old enough to come up with her sarcastic and dry comebacks that she is so famously known for.
Not having the best of childhoods she extended her and even at her current age she is still immature but knows when the time is to be mature.
When she turned 15 she decided to fight against her stereotype, she no longer wanted to be just the girl all the guys were friends with. Sure she still spend hours making music, skating at the local park and playing around with them but she found ways to prove that she was different, she started to date and become more herself instead of what society had labeled her as. She didn't care what people thought of her and took a drastic change in dyeing her hair platinum blonde...usually a trademark of a bimbo girlie girl in her town but she had now adopted it but put her own twist to the style...someting a little different and something that didn't exactly rise her popularity with the 'popular' girls...but who wanted to be friends with them...not Erin.
Personality:
Erin isn't what you would call mature, serious or girlie. She can be immature for most of the time and for the majority of the time is always smiling, laughing and having fun. She learned from many things that she couldn't waste time, the death of her much loved Mom spurred her on in life, she became that little bit more confident and took every moment as it come not planning forward in her life.
There is of course the other side to her that shines especially around people she doesn't know, she becomes nervous and has a habit if fiddling with anything in her sight just to avoid simple eyecontact...something she hates. Although she is one of the most confident and happy people around her friends...with others that side just doesn't show which is why many people miss that side and label her as being cold and emotionless.
Her life revolves around music, she has a strong taste in it and will stand by her opinions always, once she gets on opinion on something it is one of the most difficult things ever to change it which is why most people don't even try. Being musical herself she often critics those pop bands the she hates so much especially boy bands, she's always held a grudge against them as she grew up with her family's influences of the great rock and punk bands like the Ramones, Sex Pistols and the Clash...all great bands that she held dearly to her heart...God help anyone who insults them in front of her. She had many times gotten into various fights over music, weather it was just screaming arguments or full on fist fight...she would go the whole way for what she believed in.

The crowds were chanting and screaming as the music blared and Erin momentarily glanced around the side to take a peek at what they were up against, A room filled with roudy teens some older then her were throwing themselves to the front. The support band had been up, a hard screamo band that got the crowds all pumped up and ready for the next band.
Erin turned and clenched her fists for a moment, closing her eyes and wandering back to where the rest of the band was messing around and just generally being childish...nothing had changed there. A smile graced her expressions and she laughed slumping down onto the arm of a chair.
"Are you guys ever going to grow up." Her lightly colored lips twisted into a smile as one of them shot back. "We will when you do."
Erin rolled her pale blue eyes and shook her head. "Right we're on...behave." She shot a look to her fellow vocalist who tried to peg her up but she replaced her expression with an arrogant one. "Missed." She chanted and shoved him slightly.
They all stopped as they got to the stage. Their curtain had been placed and held the bands logo as it swayed in the light breeze. Erin picked up her Gibson guitar, something she held dearly to her and would never give up. Throwing the checked strap over her shoulder she was hooked up to an amp and ready to go. Watching the others get in place she flicked back her hair and tucked away those annoying loose strands of hair. Just as she returned her attention to her guitar and everyone was ready she struck the first chrod to the song and the curtain dropped.
